Based on the symbolic French martyr, the song begs the question: Where are you now?\u00a0 Elements of country are found in James\u2019 songwriting and her voice\u2014but a lot of other influences as well. Peggy is eclectic in her sources and strong in her conviction.\u00a0 Singing in a soft, emotionally resonant voice, the Wisconsin singer-songwriter gives performances that echo with the confident humanity of the Midwest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8230;ingenuous, from the heart vocal style and sincere lyrics make her a twangy hometown heroine to admire. \u201dBobby Tanzillo<\/p>\n<p>On MKE.com James plans to release a string of singles in 2021, culminating with the release of a full length LP in Q3 of 2021.
