Where is WOAS-FM 91.5?

I am guessing you will have to talk to Mother Nature.  With out single bay temporary tower, we ran into icing problems with

the recent warm, rainy weather – you know, just before we got another blizzard.  We were online only March 11 & 12, then we had two

snow days and were not on the air at all.  Testing things out again on Tuesday March 17 and hoping the warm up this week will have

cleared things up.  If you tune in and we are not on the air, we will be on line at www.woas-fm.0rg .   In that we rarely get ice storms

here (this is only the second time since 1978 that we have had an icing problem affect our signal) we will consider if it is worth it to

equip our new tower with radomes to protect the elements – something I will let our crack team of engineers decide.

 

Spring break runs from March 21 to 29.  We may be in doing some studio work so check if we are on the air – otherwise,

we will be back on our usual stretch run starting March 30.   Happy Spring Break and Easter to everyone – ker
